Things to Do

Situated just 4 miles from the M50 (Junction 4), Bodenham Farm forms a perfect base for exploring the Wye Valley, Herefordshire and the Cotswolds, and is within easy reach of Hereford, Gloucester, Cheltenham and Worcester.

Walking   It is an ideal location for walking. There are over 30 kilometres of footpaths and bridleways within Much Marcle parish. It is within easy driving distance of the Malvern Hills, the Black Mountains and the Forest of Dean. There is much to see and do from your base at Bodenham Farm, and the village itself has much to offer.

Hellens, described as "The jewel in the crown of Herefordshire Homes" by Country Living. This historic building is a living monument to much of England's history. It contains a wealth of period furnishings and decorations as well as fine paintings, miniatures and artefacts. www.hellensmanor.com  

St. Bartholomew’s Church, commenced in the 13th Century, houses a number of interesting monuments. In the churchyard stands a magnificent yew tree, thought to be over 1500 years old. The tree has been the subject of a television programme, ‘Remarkable Trees'.   

Cider   There is a tradition in the area of producing cider and perry.  Westons Cider has been making cider at The Bounds, Much Marcle for over a hundred years. There are also other local producers.
